Description
Old surf kites, new life. This duffle is handmade from the panels of several different branded kites, so the blue, grey and hot pink come from different kites, stitched together into one bag. It’s lightweight ripstop nylon that would otherwise have gone to landfill.
The main compartment opens with a single chunky open-end zip, so it’s easy to load and unload. At one end there’s a separate zipped pocket with a double zip, which is handy for things you want quick access to, like keys, money or a phone. Sturdy black webbing handles make it easy to carry, and it suits the beach, the gym or a night away.
Every bag is cut and sewn by me in Torquay, Victoria, so no two are the same. This one is perfectly imperfect, and the mix of kite panels is part of the story. It carries the Recycling in the Breeze label.
