Across many cultures, eye-shaped amulets have traditionally been associated with protection: keeping a watchful eye out for ill will, bad vibes and other things you'd rather not invite along.

These handmade polymer clay earrings feature a layered, dimensional eye, finished with a touch of irregular gilded edging and, because restraint is occasionally overrated, a sneaky sprinkle of gold sparkle.

Two of the designs are finished with genuine lapis lazuli, a gemstone long associated with wisdom, truth and inner vision… making these little talismans feel just that bit more special.

Large Watchful Heart: a statement pair with genuine lapis lazuli threaded onto the hook. Total drop measures is 7.5cm.

Watchful Eye Hoops: with three swishy little lapis lazuli drops for those who believe earrings should move when they move. Total drop measures 7cm.

Petite Watchful Hearts: a smaller version of the talisman, available with either a simple hook or stud top. Total drop measures 4cm.

Each pair is handmade individually, so expect the usual tiny variations that come with something made by actual human hands rather than a factory somewhere.
