Description
I loved designing and creating my version of the takeaway coffee/tea keep cup. Perfect for travelling too. It’s wheel thrown in my home studio, then altered by adding the partial lid cap and sipping spout, made using speckled stoneware clay. This cup is very unique and is one of a kind. Once bisque fired, the cup is decorated with white and green underglaze, stars applied, then removed, glazed with clear glaze, fired again to stoneware temperatures above 1250 degrees.
As a gift, I’ll include a Hand Crocheted Cozy/Cup Coat which I made myself, so you are able to hold the cup without scorching one’s hand.
