This one-of-a-kind handcrafted five-decade rosary (prayer beads) is designed as a tactile, meditative object — created slowly, bead by bead, with care given to balance, rhythm, and intention.
The Hail Mary beads are formed from luminous 6 mm Mother of Pearl, chosen for their soft, reflective glow and long association with purity, calm, and contemplation. The Our Father beads are 8 mm matte onyx, grounding the piece with quiet strength and contrast. A single 10 mm matte onyx bead forms the centre, anchoring the rosary both visually and symbolically.
The crucifix is an artisan interpretation, hand-wrapped from 6 mm matte onyx beads in polished copper wire.
Rather than a cast component, this beaded crucifix is constructed entirely by hand, honouring the traditional five-decade rosary structure while allowing space for individual craftsmanship and expression.
All wire work is completed in copper. The main rosary has been carefully oxidised to create depth and warmth, while the crucifix drop is finished in polished copper. The piece is sealed with Renaissance Wax to help protect the finish while allowing the metal to age naturally over time.
This rosary follows the traditional five-decade format and is suitable for prayer, reflection, or devotional use. It is equally intended as a meaningful heirloom piece — made to be held, used, and cherished.
