Between Rains – Australian Chrysoprase Copper Pendant

This one-of-a-kind pendant features a natural Australian chrysoprase, selected for its soft green tones layered through earthy brown matrix — a gentle reflection of the land resting between rainfall.
The stone is hand-wrapped in copper wire, shaped to follow its natural elongated form while maintaining an open, balanced design. The wrap supports the stone without overwhelming it, allowing the chrysoprase’s natural colour transitions and quiet depth to remain the focal point.
Within the Australiana Collection, Between Rains draws inspiration from inland landscapes after rain has passed — when moisture lingers in the soil, greens deepen, and the country holds still before the next change. The lightly oxidised copper complements these tones, echoing damp earth and weathered ground.
Measuring approximately 6 cm from the bail, the pendant is lightly oxidised and sealed with Renaissance Wax to help preserve the copper’s finish while allowing it to age naturally over time. It is suspended from an 18-inch stainless steel chain with a copper-plated finish, sealed for longevity and finished with a parrot clasp.
