This A5 journal has been lovingly bound using the traditional Coptic stitch, hand sewn with strong waxed pure linen thread. The exposed stitching is not only beautiful but practical, allowing the journal to open completely flat, making it a pleasure to write, sketch, paint, or dream across every page.
The covers are wrapped in 100% cotton shibori fabric, hand dyed by me using traditional resist-dyeing techniques. Each piece is individually created, resulting in beautiful, organic patterns that can never be exactly repeated. Every journal is truly one of a kind.
Inside are handmade 200gsm paper pages with a beautiful natural texture, perfect for journalling, sketching, mixed media, light watercolour, calligraphy, or preserving special memories.
