I was inspired to make this bag with vintage floral fabrics in the softest sage green and warm cream — it evokes the quiet beauty of a hidden world where time stands still. Inspired by those muted florals, I paired them with upcycled denim washed until it feels like a favourite worn-in pair of jeans, creating a gentle contrast that balances everyday ease with romantic nostalgia. From reclaimed denim side panels to a spacious green and cream cotton lining, I gather these beautiful textiles to give them a new, purposeful life. Every piece is recreated with intention, carrying its unique history forward into your daily adventures.

For the Secret Garden I chose each piece of fabric for its colour and history — structuring the design with two small outer pockets from upcycled denim jeans for quick, hidden storage. I built the bag for exceptional durability, featuring perfectly coordinated double-stitched handles, a secure magnetic clasp, and a single zippered deep pocket to keep your keys or phone safe. Everything was then fully lined and slowly stitched into place for long-lasting, machine-washable wear, crafting a sustainable piece of wearable art that lets you carry a little piece of a sun-dappled secret garden with you, wherever you roam.
