I was inspired to make this bag with contrasting soft white and purple tones — it brings a gentle, calming pop of colour that feels both cozy and distinct. Inspired by those soothing lavender hues, I paired them with uniquely mixed upcycled denim pieces, creating a rich texture and character that blends rugged durability with a soft, artistic aesthetic. From pre-loved jeans to a never-used, velvety-soft flannel sheet, I gather these beautiful textiles to give them a new, purposeful life. Every piece is recreated with intention, carrying its unique history forward into your daily adventures.

For Purple Stitch I chose each piece of denim for its texture and character — structuring the design with a charming small front jeans pocket to keep your phone and keys secure. I built the bag for exceptional comfort and strength, featuring durable double-stitched handles, a recessed zipper closure that opens to a roomy interior, and an extra internal zippered pocket for flawless organization. Everything was then fully lined with a sturdy interior and slowly stitched into place for long-lasting, machine-washable wear, crafting the perfect everyday companion for work, shopping, or leisurely outings.
