This ring reminds me of the many sunsets we have watched whilst travelling Australia.

The hero is a natural yellow sapphire, a little reminder of the stars beginning to twinkle as the sunset fades.

I handcrafted this one-of-a-kind ring from recycled 925 sterling silver using traditional sandcasting. The polished band contrasts with the natural sandcast texture left around the sapphires, giving it a character all its own.

The pink sapphires were placed inside the sand mould leaving them free to move around as I poured the silver.

Wear it on its own for a splash of pink, or stack it with another of my creations.
