Inspiration for this ring - oomalie Creek – My inspiration for this handmade sterling silver ring came from five days sheltering under beautiful trees during Cyclone Fina's torrential rain.
We were camped at Coomalie Creek in the Northern Territory when Cyclone Fina hit, bringing days of relentless rain. Sheltered beneath the canopy of magnificent trees, we watched the creek swell and the bushland come alive. Kookaburras called from the branches above, kangaroos grazed nearby, and wild geese wandered along the creek's edge – all of us waiting out the storm together.
This sterling silver ring captures that raw, untamed beauty. Set with natural Queensland sapphires in earthy greens and browns, each stone reflects the landscape we watched transform around us – the deep greens of rain-soaked eucalyptus, the rich browns of the swollen creek, the wild palette of the Top End in full force.
Handcrafted in 925 sterling silver, the raw, unpolished sapphires honour the organic beauty of that moment – unrefined, authentic, and utterly Australian.
