My Inspiration

This one-of-a-kind sterling silver sandcast pendant was born from a Darwin sunset, where the sky burns crimson and the horizon splits the light into something almost too beautiful to hold. At its centre, the heart is open — a deliberate void that lets the world through, just as the Timor Sea catches every last ray before the day is gone.
Two facet-cut garnet fragments, naturally cleaved from a single stone, sit either side of that open space. Their deep crimson fire mirrors the molten colours of the tropics — intense, unexpected, and entirely unrepeatable.
Cast in recycled 925 sterling silver using traditional sandcasting methods, this piece doesn't just tell a story. It holds one.
