Being a Kiwi, I love to create the New Zealand maps as I think it is such a beautiful piece of art!
This map was hand cut on my scroll saw using a lovely piece of jacaranda timber. I have incorporated paua shell as I especially love the colours and they definitely pop when the resin layers are added. I have also used my wood burning kit to inscribe the word Aotearoa which means land of the long white cloud.

Care instructions:
Keep out of direct long exposure to sunlight to avoid yellowing of the resin
Wipe and polish if needed by using a soft, dry microfibre cloth
