Homestead Lemon Myrtle Tea Cake
A simple farm-style cake that lets our Lemon Myrtle shine.
Ingredients
* 1 cup self-raising flour
* ½ cup raw sugar
* 125g melted butter
* 2 eggs
* ¼ cup milk
* 2 teaspoons Wildhorse Homestead Lemon Myrtle
Method
1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
2. Mix flour, sugar and Lemon Myrtle in a bowl.
3. Add melted butter, eggs and milk, stirring until combined.
4. Pour into a greased loaf tin or small cake tin.
5. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until golden and a skewer comes out clean.
6. Serve warm with cream, yoghurt or a drizzle of local honey.
