🌿 Hand-knotted fern leaf necklace with a semi precious gemstone and wooden beads.
You can chose to have the leaf made in one of the 7 shades which are shown in the photos:
1.Lime 2.Grass 3.Moss 4.Olive 5.Fir 6.Khaki 7.Old Copper.
Plus you can choose which gemstone:
1.Tigers eye 2.Canadian Jade.
Each one is individually made and slightly different. If you have a strong preference though please let me know. ( eg, larger or smaller size bead, the necklace shape of either the grass or the olive examples)
All of my items are made from robust Brazilian Linhasita knotting yarn. This yarn is waterproof, tear-resistant, colorfast, and very durable.
The clasp is an adjustable sliding knot. This allows you to wear the necklace at various lengths, either close to your neck or longer.
The nature of the knots means that there is a front and a back to the design. I have included pictures so you can see the difference and how to wear this necklace so that it looks as intended. Please note there is NO glue used at all in micro macrame. The ends of the threads are melted in order to seal them and prevent fraying.
The necklace is water resistant however the materials will last longer if you dont get them wet. You can gently hand-wash it in cool water with mild soap only when needed, and always lay it flat or hang it to air dry.
