'Masked Owl' linocut is my design interpretation from a photograph I took of this magnificent bird!
Masked owls are found across Australia, however their numbers are declining and they are listed as endangered in most states. I saw this particular sleepy masked owl in Tasmania, where they are under threat from declining habitat of old growth forests.
