The Bay of Fires on the east coast of Tasmania is such a stunning area, if you have been you will always remember the glorious orange lichen covered rocks!
This image is based on a photograph I was lucky to capture at Binalong Bay, with a beautiful pelican proudly standing on the highest rock overlooking the bay! I then translated it to a sketch, then to lino, carving and hand printing, and finally I have coloured with artist's watercolour paints to fully express the wonder of these amazing coastal colours.
