Hand painted wooden Magpie Christmas Decoration.
Calling all bird nerd Christmas lovers - you know who you are ! We have something you'll love !
A national icon and fan favourite, I simply couldn't leave out the beautiful Magpie from our festive collection.
These winged beauties are designed, made and hand painted in our Hunter Valley Workshop.
Inspired by our own Australiana Collection designs, our love of nature, and being mad keen on all things Aussie Christmas (yep - including music - well me more than Mike !), we wanted to create decorations that were a little bit quirky, with a touch of the traditional and a wee dash of sparkly goodness.
They are painted on 1 side and left unpainted on the back with our logo so you can write a little tome on your keepsake.
When you bring them out each year - you'll have a little written message to read - that's yay isn't it !
The Important Stuff:
Style: Australian Magpie
Colours: Black and White (of course !)
Materials: Australian made Blackwood Ply, acrylic water based non-toxic paints from the US and finished with an Australian made matte seal so they stay looking beautiful - and of course a little gold hanging string
Size: Apx 65mm (W) and 90mm (H)
Packaging: They come attached to a 100% post consumer recycled printed festive card that gives you some info about the decoration and then I pop that into a home compostable cellophane bag to protect it on it's journey.
Shipping: We complete these to order so please allow 2-3 working days for us to get them looking gorgeous and packed up for shipping
Please note that single decorations are sent without tracked shipping but if you order 2 or more they are tracked and we even have an option to upgrade for express shipping if you're in a super-dooper hurry.
Why are they so great ?
- Australian Made
- Inspired by Australian native plants and animals
- Whimsical, quirky, awesome (you get the picture)
- Affordable gift
- Australian bling for your Christmas Tree or festive decor
They make a great gift for:
- Christmas, Christmas and Christmas
- For you to bling up your tree or hang on garlands, hooks, door handles, the dog or the cat (perhaps not there but you see where I'm going)
- People who love all things Australian Nature
As they are hand painted colour variations can occur from order to order but that's how you know they are full of genuinely handcrafted wonderfulness and not mass produced.
