Want to make your own pork pies, you have the recipe ready but you don't have the tool necessary to make them.
Well, you no longer have to import your Pork Pie Dolly from the UK.
Scotties Spoons has a range of locally made hand crafted Dollies available for immediate delivery.
This pork pie mold has been handmade and is used when making a hand raised pork pie.
You would cut a circle of pastry.
The mould is then placed into the centre of the circle and the pastry is raised up, around the sides of the mould.
The mould would then be removed, the pie is filled, and the pastry top put onto the pie.
Remember to dust your new dolly with a little flour before moulding your pie.
It was turned by me on a lathe from Silvertop and Black Walnut hardwoods.
All my wooden kitchen items are made in my workshop in country Victoria Australia.

* no wooden kitchen items are dishwasher safe.
* hand wash in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly with a tea towel.
* all wooden items will split if left standing in water for any length of time.
* restore the wood and it's colour periodically by applying a natural food grade oil with a soft cloth.
* I use Walnut Oil, readily available from large supermarket chains.
* don't treat your wooden items with olive oil as it will go rancid in a short time.
