It is safe to use when preparing your food, and will not damage non-stick frying pans or ceramic saucepans.
It is heat resistant, light weight and strong and has been finished off with natural food safe Walnut Oil.
This spoon can be used for mixing heavy bread dough and large cake mixes, as well as for sweet making.
All my wooden kitchen items are made in my workshop in country Victoria Australia.
No two pieces are the same as timber grain varies throughout the length of the tree.

* hand wash in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly with a tea towel.
* all wooden items will split if left standing in water for any length of time.
* restore the wood and it's colour periodically by applying a natural food grade oil with a soft cloth.
* I use Walnut Oil, readily available from large supermarket chains.
* don't treat your wooden items with olive oil as it will go rancid in a short time.
