Type of Opal - This is a lovely large Koroit Australian Matrix Boulder opal with green and blue gemmy sparkles and gorgeous patterning against the dark ironstone. Hand cut and polished, it is wire wrapped in Sterling silver wire into a lovely unique pendant, in direct light it is amazing.
Material - Sterling silver wire.
Size - The finished pendant measures 40 mm long.
Necklace - 45cm Sterling silver plated snake chain.
Packing - Your pendant comes in an organza bag and a padded bag for posting, sent securely packed and tracked.
I source my opals from local miners, cut and polish most myself. It's often a messy thing to do requiring a lot of patience and persistence, and a glorious delight to find that colour within a stone. I tend to like the unusual ones, the unique and different that are often overlooked yet bring such beauty. All opals are solid unless otherwise stated.
