Description
This fabulous Kingfisher in flight is part of a series by Brisbane designer De Gillett Cox for fabric printers Kennard and Kennard. I've used it to make a small, useful take anywhere bag.
The front and back are reinforced with a synthetic wadding for strength and shape-holding. The top is secured by ties, and the strap is padded to be comfortable while narrow. The back is a bright flowery batik, quilted in black while the lining is a neutral print. The outer shell, lining, strap and strap wadding are cotton.
The bag is about 25 cm square. The ties are 24 cm long, and the long strap is about 120 cm.
Cold water washing, and drying in the shade is recommended.
