Handmade Gumnut Angel
Inspired by the beauty of the Australian bush, each Gumnut Angel begins with a naturally fallen gumnut that I carefully collect, clean and transform by hand in my Melbourne studio.
For this collection, I have chosen a timeless palette of gold and navy, creating an elegant and classic angel that celebrates the natural beauty of the gumnut itself. Every angel is individually hand-painted and carefully adorned, making each one unique with its own gentle character.
Rather than letting these remarkable seed pods go unnoticed on the forest floor, I love giving them a second life as meaningful keepsakes. Whether displayed on a Christmas tree, hung as a decoration, or given as a thoughtful gift, each angel is a small reminder that beauty can be found in the simplest gifts of nature.
