Little Poppets – Handmade Ceramic Wind Chime
Meet Honey, one of my Little Poppets—a collection of whimsical handmade ceramic girls, each with their own name, personality and story waiting to be discovered. With her toffee coloured hat, bobbly jumper, scarf and yellow coat she is warmly wrapped up and ready to be looked after.
Lovingly hand-built in my home studio in Wellard, Western Australia, my Little Poppets are crafted from beautifully speckled BRT clay, giving it a warm, earthy surface filled with natural freckles and character. Every detail is carefully sculpted by hand, then painted with underglazes, bisque fired, have an underglaze colour wash then gloss fired to create a unique keepsake that will bring charm to your home or garden.
Designed to sway gently in the breeze, her little legs do a little dance. this Little Poppet makes a delightful wind chime for a favourite tree, veranda or sheltered outdoor space. No moulds are used, meaning every piece is completely one of a kind and can never be exactly recreated.
