Dimensions: 9cm high x 8cm wide

Clay: White Australian Clay

Glaze Finish: Coloured Gloss & White Gloss

Decoration: Maker's Thumb pressed into one side

Hand made calmly on a wheel, trimmed and then allowed to dry slowly for 2 weeks. The cups are then bisque fired in a kiln before a coloured glaze is gently poured inside the cup & brushed around the exterior. The following day their rims are dipped into a white glaze to create and interesting overlap around the exterior, as well as a beautiful foaming finish on the interior rim. It is then fired in a kiln, a 2nd time, to a temperature over 1200C degrees.

The maker's thumb print makes this cup easy to hold.

Perfect cup for tea, latte, cappuccino or a cold drinks tumbler. Any beverage tastes better in a handmade ceramic cup.

Being handmade, you can expect slight variation in colour and size, making every one a unique piece.

Designed to be used & enjoyed everyday and will remain in your family home for many years.

Each piece is individually handmade in my home studio in Copacabana, NSW.
