Handmade Ceramic Prepping Bowl | Marble Stoneware Garlic Grater & Herb Stripper

Elevate your everyday cooking with this beautifully handcrafted ceramic prepping bowl, thoughtfully designed to make preparing fresh ingredients a pleasure.

Hand thrown on my pottery wheel from coloured stoneware clay, each bowl develops its own unique marbled pattern within the clay itself, ensuring no two pieces are ever the same. Once formed, every bowl is individually altered by hand to include a textured grating surface for fresh garlic and ginger, herb stripping holes for removing leaves from woody stems, and a practical pouring spout for effortlessly serving dressings, marinades and infused oils.

Simply grate fresh garlic or ginger directly into the bowl, strip herbs such as thyme, rosemary or oregano from their stems, drizzle in olive oil and your favourite seasonings, mix, and pour straight from the bowl. A simple, beautiful way to create fresh marinades, dipping oils and dressings with minimal mess.

Each piece is dried slowly over several weeks before being twice fired in my home studio kiln near Mildura, Victoria. Finished with a food-safe clear gloss glaze, the natural marbling and rich colours of the stoneware clay are beautifully enhanced while providing a smooth, durable surface for everyday use.

More than just a kitchen tool, this is a piece of functional art—made to be used, loved and displayed for years to come.
