Living in a semi bush setting is a fantastic resource for my work. We have a large garden which is seasonal and organic with little heads of colour continually popping up in the most unexpected places. I love watching beams of light coming through the trees and have tried to capture this magical sense of light and shade in this piece. I am constantly amazed how filtered light can change a whole composition in a slight breeze or during the day depending on the direction of the light source. Fascinating!
