Description
"City Stone" is a striking scarf, handwoven from merino wool blend yarn (85% Australian Merino Wool + 15% Nylon). This scarf measures 193cm x 18cm (76" x 7") including fringe. The yarn is a very soft merino wool blend, hand dyed in a dramatic mosaic of colours that create an effect reminiscent of the myriad palette of an urban landscape.
The fine Australian merino wool makes this yarn luxuriously soft and bouncy for next to skin comfort. A little nylon is added for extra durability.
The main factor determining the quality of Australian merino wool is its softness which depends upon the fineness of the fibres. The use of fine merino (19.5 microns) which is some of the finest commercially available results in a super soft yarn that feels gentle against the skin.
Please note, as this is a handmade garment consisting of natural fibres, please take care when washing. Gentle hand washing with a good quality wool wash is recommended. Dry flat and NO NOT tumble dry.
