Description
This large soft hobo bag was created from a lovely black & white textured skirt. It is lined with white fabric with a sketched black floral pattern that was cut from a dress. The bright red hand-appliqued flowers include scraps of fabric from other projects.
The bag has a zip pocket on the back wall and a double slip pocket inside the front wall. It closes with a magnetic snap in a silver colour.
My hobo bags are quite big - about 35 cm x 28 cm, so they hold a lot.
The strap is long enough to wear the bag across your body, then it sits on your hip (it is 100cm). Alternatively you could wear it on one shoulder if you prefer.
The name of this design is Sadie Jane - named after a school friend - I always loved her name and she was a relaxed, easy-going sort of girl.
