Spellstorm is an original, one-of-a-kind alcohol ink painting created by hand on Nara paper and presented in a classic white frame.

The handmade process
I create each alcohol ink painting by hand, allowing the inks to move, flow, blend and interact with one another across the surface of the Nara paper. Alcohol ink is wonderfully unpredictable — once the colours begin moving, I work with their natural reactions rather than trying to completely control them.
For Spellstorm, layers of blue create depth, movement and contrast, capturing the energy of a storm while leaving room for the viewer to find their own meaning in the piece.
Because the artwork is created by hand and the inks behave differently every time, Spellstorm is completely unique and cannot be reproduced exactly.

Care
Display indoors and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, excessive moisture and extreme temperatures. Dust the frame gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid touching or cleaning the artwork itself.

Spellstorm is about finding strength within the chaos. The swirling shades of blue can be read as a storm, a state of mind, or simply an abstract landscape of colour and movement.
Like all abstract art, there is no single correct way to see it — what you find in the painting is part of the experience.

Wherever possible, I reuse clean and suitable packing materials rather than sending them to landfill. Giving packaging a second life means a little less waste with every parcel.
