A Little Wild — Eco-Printed Silk Scarf
A whimsical botanical silk scarf created during a trip through Italy.
The soft smoky grey-purple background is scattered with delicate botanical impressions in creamy whites, warm peach and earthy muted tones. Leaves appear almost as little sketches across the silk, with some beautifully defined and others softened into ghost like impressions or little stars as a friend called it.
Created using real plant material and the unpredictable process of botanical eco-printing, natural dye, the design has a wonderfully organic, slightly playful design ( must have been the Italian wine ) the kind of pattern that reveals something new each time you look at it.
Lightweight, raw edged yet fluid and soft against the skin, it can be loosely wrapped around the neck or draped over the shoulders, on your bag, in your hair.
