Imagine taking this journal outside on a quiet morning, a cup of coffee beside you, and writing down the thoughts that have been waiting for somewhere to land.
Or tucked into a favourite bag, ready for sketches, dreams, travel memories, recipes, poems or the little things you don't want to forget.
The cover began with real leaves and botanicals, gathered and placed by hand before being transformed through the slow, unpredictable process of eco printing. The soft earthy colours, faded edges and delicate botanical marks are created by nature itself — no two prints will ever be quite the same.
It has been lovingly hand bound using traditional Coptic stitch, with every section stitched individually in pure linen thread. The exposed green stitching becomes part of its character, while the 200gsm pages give you a beautiful, substantial surface for writing and creating.
There is a handmade bookmark tucked inside too — a small finishing touch for a book made to be used, treasured and filled with your own stories.
This is imperfectly perfect. You may find a little variation in colour, a soft mark where a leaf has left its impression, or an edge that isn't quite uniform. These aren't flaws. They're the evidence of the hands, plants and natural processes that made it.
Perhaps it's a journal for yourself. Perhaps it's a thoughtful gift for someone special — the person who loves to write, wander, dream and notice the beauty in little things.
