A piece created from soft pure wool and real botanicals, eco printed by hand to capture the beautiful shapes, textures and earthy colours of nature.
The wool has taken on a wonderful collection of warm ochres, earthy browns, rust and deep botanical tones with individual leaves creating their own unique impressions. I have also added hand stitching around one of the printed leaves, bringing a little extra texture and detail to the botanical design.
The pouch is hand sewn with wool, including the decorative stitched edging and a simple snap button closure and handmade clay button. It has that lovely perfectly imperfect quality of something made slowly by hand — every stitch, mark and botanical print is part of its story.
At approximately 24 × 18 cm, it is a useful medium-sized pouch with plenty of room for more than just a few little treasures.
