This pork pie mould has been handmade and is used to form the Hot Water Crust Pastry of the pie before filling.
It was turned on a lathe and made from Australian Blackwood.
All my wooden kitchen items are made in my workshop in country Victoria Australia.

* no wooden kitchen items are dishwasher safe.
* hand wash in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly with a tea towel.
* all wooden items will split if left standing in water for any length of time.
* restore the wood and it's colour periodically by applying a natural food grade oil with a soft cloth.
* I use Walnut Oil, readily available from large supermarket chains.
* don't treat your wooden items with olive oil as it will go rancid in a short time.
