The design is an original drawing of some Pink Flowered Yellow Gum blossoms that I see along the creek and natural park where I live. Eucalypt blossoms feature on all of my linen products in various colourways. Greeting Card sustainably printed in Australia on recycled white cardstock (350gsm) and is compostable. The colourway of the print is in a range of pinks, reds and greens. The card has been made this size so it can be added in a picture frame as a keepsake.
Inside the card is a watermark of the Blossom design and on the back is the following description. ”Original hand drawing of Pink Flowered Yellow Gum blossoms (Eucalyptus Leucoxylon) that I see every day along the creek where I live. Eucalypt blossoms are used on my handprinted linen products. Indigenous names in Victoria include Terrk and Ban-napp in the Dja Dja Wurrung language (Central & North Central Victoria), and Easip in the Woi wurrung (Wurundjeri) language (Greater Melbourne Area). Yellow Gum trees produce nectar-rich flowers in clusters of vibrant, white, cream, pink or red blossoms that attract a diverse range of wildlife, including birds, bees and other pollinators.”
Card size closed is 5inch x 7inch(127mm x 178mm). The card comes with a recycled brown envelope and is in a biodegradable cellulose cellophane bag. Weight of card and envelope is 20g. Postage added at checkout and is cost of standard letter for Australia.
