This original design is inspired by the leafy sea dragon (Phycodurus eques) beautiful leaf-like appendages that make it virtually indistinguishable from floating seaweed. The ornate, leaf-like lobes growing from its head and body serve entirely for disguise, allowing it to sway perfectly with ocean currents to fool both predators and prey.

This design is printed in a blend of mauve, lemon, greens and blues on natural white linen. All Alili's products have been prewashed so preshrunk and heat pressed.

The tea towels are approximately 68cm x 50cm after prewash.

All my products are hand printed, which means there may be slight differences during each print run and from piece to piece, making them all unique.

The screen printing process uses non-toxic and water-based products. The hand screenprinting process minimises waste where we strive to reduce our footprint in the printing, production, marketing and packaging to create long-lasting treasured items with minimal environmental impact.

Care Instructions: Warm handwash with mild detergent. Line dry in shade, Lay flat, or hang your linen to air dry. Warm Iron on the reverse side. Do not soak, rub, bleach, wring, or tumble dry. Avoid wringing it out to prevent distortion.
