The rocks have been here longer than any of us and the sea keeps coming in and out regardless.

"Torquay - rockpool" is all drama and texture - dark mossy rocks in the foreground, white surf breaking and swirling around them, and beyond it all that deep vivid turquoise that makes Torquay's water so unforgettble. Three birds wheel overhead in a clear blue sky, and a single white cloud drifts past without a care.

This is the wild energetic side of the Victorian coast - full of movement, colur and life - painted in bold, luminous watercolor on a a Tasmanian oak block. Where the other beach pieces are quiet and meditative, this one has a pulse

I painted with watercolors on an 11 x 11 cm Tasmanian oak block and as I paint to order each one will be slightly different as they are originals. Posting will be 1-3 days from order and delivery will depend on Australia Post but hopefully within 1-7 days
