Vegan and made without carmine, lake dyes, essential oils, petrolatum, mineral oil or added preservatives.

STORAGE
Store below 25°C, away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. The natural jelly texture may soften during hot weather and firm again when returned to a cooler temperature.

What is lip jelly?
Lip jelly sits between a balm and a gloss. It has a soft, cushiony texture that coats the lips with comfortable moisture and shine.
Is it sticky or greasy?
It has a rich, glossy feel with a little natural tack from castor oil. It is thicker than a lip oil but softer than a traditional waxy balm.
Does it add colour?
The mica adds a sheer tint and shimmer rather than opaque lipstick-style colour. The effect may look slightly different depending on your natural lip colour.
How strong is the flavour?
The flavour Aroma provides more of a scent rather than a noticeable flavour. It is not intended to taste like confectionery. Flavour strength can also seem different from person to person.
Is it sweetened?
Yes. The lip jelly is lightly sweetened with stevia to complement the flavour aroma. The sweetness is subtle and may taste slightly different from person to person.
Is it vegan?
Yes. This lip jelly is made without beeswax, carmine or other animal-derived ingredients.
Is it made with natural ingredients?
It is made predominantly with plant-derived oils and waxes, together with cosmetic-grade mica, mineral colourants where used, vitamin E and lip-safe aroma.
Does it contain petroleum jelly?
No. Its jelly texture comes from a plant-based blend of castor oil, hydrogenated castor oil and carnauba wax.
Does it contain preservatives?
No preservative is added because the formula contains no water. Keep water and wet fingers out of the tin.
How does it help dry-feeling lips?
The oils and waxes form a comfortable layer over the lips, helping to reduce moisture loss and leave them feeling softer, smoother and moisturised.
How often can I apply it?
Apply whenever your lips need extra softness or shine. Use a clean, dry finger or the supplied applicator.
Can I wear it over lipstick?
Yes. Apply a small amount over lipstick or lip liner for added shine. Use a clean applicator to avoid transferring colour into the tin.
How do I use the bamboo applicator?
Scoop up a very small amount and smooth it over the lips. Wipe the applicator clean after use and allow it to dry before placing it back with the product.
Is it suitable for sensitive lips?
The formula is simple, but it contains castor oil, flavour and cosmetic-grade colourants, which may not suit everyone. Patch test before regular use and stop using it if burning, swelling, itching or persistent irritation occurs.
Is it suitable for use around the eyes?
No. This product is formulated for the lips and should not be applied to the eyes or eyelids.
Is it suitable for children?
It is intended as an adult cosmetic. Keep it out of reach of young children and do not allow it to be eaten.
Will it melt in hot weather?
The jelly may soften in warm conditions. Store it upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heaters and hot cars. If it softens, allow it to return gradually to room temperature.
How should I store it?
Keep the lid securely closed and store below approximately 25°C where possible. Protect it from heat, sunlight, moisture and contamination.
How long will it last?
Use it by the best-before date shown on the label. For best quality, use clean applicators and discard it if the smell, colour or texture changes noticeably.
Why might each batch look slightly different?
Every lip jelly is handmade in small batches. Minor differences in colour, shimmer and texture can occur due to the natural ingredients and hand-poured process.
Is the packaging reusable or recyclable?
The aluminium tin can be cleaned and reused or recycled according to your local council’s requirements. The bamboo applicator can also be cleaned and reused.
