Description
This lovely little box is handcrafted from highly figured Tasmanian Sassafras.
The box was created by carefully routing out the interior space from a solid timber piece, rounding over the front
and rear bottom edges and crafting a lid that is finely shaped through several processes. This lid features stunning blackheart sassafras and is attached using quality concealed brass hinges. The lid tapers from the centre to the box line and provides a lift point to open the box and the interior of each box is attentively hand sanded.
The exterior surfaces have been linished in a graded process, to create a nice, smooth finish that is protected with multiple coats of premium clear lacquer, which retains the natural colour of the timber. The interior bottom of the box is lined with black wool felt, made by an Australian manufacturer. Handy to keep on a desk or dresser and great for storing business cards, flash drives, small keepsakes, jewellery pieces, etc.
Overall box dimensions- Length- 121 mm; Width- 83 mm; Height- 35 mm, including lid thickness of 10 mm.
Internal available space- Length- 92 mm; Width- 68 mm; Height- 20 mm
