Description
I created these Salt Cellars on the Pottery Wheel in my home studio near Mildura, Victoria. They are both made from white Stoneware clay. When the piece is partially dry they are trimmed and altered, so the bowl sits on its side. Once completely dried they’re fired, glazed and fired again to stoneware temperatures above 1260 degrees Celsius in my kiln. Perfect for Salt, Salt Flakes, Tea Bags or a Herb that gets used often and a beautiful piece of pottery to sit on your bench top.
