The paper piglet journey…
Each paper piglet is lovingly handmade from cardstock or textured paper. I design each piggie shape, cut the body and other bits out from paper, assemble it and photograph it in my garden in bright sunlight to give natural shadows…11am or 1pm give the best effect! Then I add a piggie face and colourful background. The final touch is adding details like a tennis racquet or a hat or a little birdie companion so that each design tells a delightful story. Funnily enough, I don’t have a printing press in the living room so each piece is sent off to a fabulous printer in Marrickville, NSW where it is printed on beautiful archival quality card.
