Description
This unique textile brooch has been crafted from repurposed interior textile & has been embellished with red textile flowers edged in metallic thread. Gold glass beads & vintage Japanese ledger paper also enhance the brooch. The backing has been beautifully finished with matching textile & a small 'R' logo in metallic thread. The brooch looks fabulous on it's own or pinned over one of my textile necklaces or attached to a scarf.

Handmade process: Textiles have been adhered to individually hand-cut heavy weight paper using acid free adhesives. The red textile flower petals have been individually cut & meticulously finished with metallic thread to add beauty & protect the edges. Thread work is added using dental instruments & acid free adhesive.

Care: These are not intended to be immersed in water although a little rain is not an issue - the adhesive is water proof. You can spot clean them by carefully using a cotton bud with mild soap.
