Rainbow heart mosaic, stained glass mosaic carved into reclaimed wood

I made this mosaic wall art by carving a heart into a piece of reclaimed timber panel from my old Australian hardwood fence, then I mosaiced it with pretty colourful stained glass pieces.

Unlike painted glass, the vibrant colours of stained glass will never fade, and the way light bounces off the colourful surfaces can’t be matched with any other medium.

I love creating quirky, interesting and one-of-a-kind pieces, all my work is handcrafted by myself in my home studio. I've been working with stained glass for almost 20 years and take great pride in my art, I always work to a professional standard and use only the highest quality materials.

I have the most beautiful colours by handpicking every sheet of glass myself from a local Sydney supplier, and use recycled glass from old windows when I can.
