Description
Attentively crafted from beautiful Tasmanian Myrtle, our Kali pen box design features a removable insert handmade from Tasmanian Pine that can be used separately as a pen tray, leaving the box free to store other items like keepsakes or flashdrives etc. The body of the box is routed from a solid piece of premium timber and the finely shaped lid is attached with high quality concealed brass hinges. A lid lip tapers from the centre to the box line to provide a lift point to open the box. The interior of each box is carefully hand sanded before the exterior is linished in a graded process to create a nice smooth finish.
The box finish is protected with multiple coats of premium clear lacquer, which retains the lovely natural colour of the timber. The interior bottom of the box is lined with black wool felt, sourced from an Australian manufacturer. Would make an enduring gift for someone special or a lovely treat for yourself.
All of our designs come boxed in recycled cardboard and wrapped in kraft paper with raffia ribbon.
