Pansy are always so popular on a teacosy. This has been made for a medium teapot that can be round or oval in shape. Made by me near Bellingen on the mid north coast of NSW. Perfect accompaniment for a cup of tea of your choice.
Features:
- Crocheted with good quality bright blue acrylic yarn as the base
- Detailed embellishments crocheted with 100% cotton for the pansies and leaves. This one has a ring of blue pansies around the top of the cosy
- The spout and handle opening are universal and wide so the teacosy can be placed either way
- The base of the teacosy has been crocheted in the brioche manner so it is quite stretchy. Hat elastic has been crocheted into the base to accommodate this stretchiness.
- The top of the cosy has been left open so it can accommodate any knob on your pot.
- Designed to be easily pulled on and off a variety of shaped pots which makes it an ideal gift for someone with less nimble fingers. Can stretch quite wide but would not fit a large round teapot.
- Size is approximately 17 cm high and 18 cm wide without stretching.
- Suitable for a roundish to oblong teapot.
