Ovelle - Handmade Ceramic Platter

This piece was shaped slowly by hand in my Sunshine Coast studio, with an easy, oval form and a surface carved with simple botanical lines.

The carving is subtle - just enough to catch the glaze and create quiet movement across the piece. Finished in a soft blue with depth and variation, it shifts gently in the light, a little like water.

Measuring approximately 36 x 20 cm, it’s a lovely size for something to share - fruit, cheese, something sweet - or simply left out as part of your space.

Each one is made by hand, so no two are ever exactly the same. Those small variations are part of what make it feel personal.
