The Gathering Dish is a small wheel-thrown ceramic piece designed for those moments around the table - tearing warm bread, sharing olive oil, adding fresh herbs and creating something delicious from simple ingredients.

Each dish is individually wheel thrown in my Sunshine Coast studio, then carefully hand carved to create the textured grating surface. The carved centre allows you to grate fresh garlic directly into the dish before adding your favourite olive oil, balsamic vinegar, cracked pepper or herbs for a beautiful dipping oil to share.

This design also includes small herb stripping holes along the side - a handy little detail for removing leaves from softer herb stems before adding them to your dish.

Finished with a soft earthy glaze that pools into the carved texture, highlighting every handmade mark.
