All of my quilts are designed, cut, pieced and quilted by me. With this quilt I started with the pink and black floral that appears in each block then added a collection of complements. My fabric selections is in one of the photos! What do you think?
One of my favourite styles of patchwork fabric is the oriental prints. I always have some on hand. I love the elegance, the beautiful colours and regularly the touch of gold highlights. This quilt captures it all. Made with really big blocks, the design allows the fabrics to sing.
This quilt is just under 180cms square. It will be a nice 'topper' on a double bed or a fabulous feature over the lounge. It will also suit a king single or as a wall quilt.
The front and back are made with 100% quality patchwork fabric. The wadding is 50/50 cotton/poly. Although the wadding is pre-shrunk, there will always be a natural, slight shrinkage when first washed.
