A Kalimba is a westernised version of an ancient African instrument called a Mibra. The stainless steel tynes are played by plucking, giving the Kalimba a characteristic almost pure tone, the adjacent Tynes vibrate giving a secondary sound increasing the harmonics of the note played.

This 8 key mini Kalimba can play many simple tunes,It is light and small, 75mm x 60mm x 30mm, small enough to carry in your pocket.

Used in Sound healing therapy, playing it will genuinely help you to relax and unwind.

The instrument is constructed out of a spectacular piece of Australian Blackwood and finished in Danish oil.

It comes pre tuned in the key of C.
