Mabon is the Pagan Celebration of the Autumn Equinox which is celebrated in the Southern Hemisphere on March 20th-23rd and in the Northern Hemisphere on September 22nd-23rd.
Mabon is considered a time to honour the Spirit World and the Aging Deities. It is a time for one to stop and enjoy the hard earned fruits of our labours, whether they be agricultural, emotional and or physical.
It is also the time where we begin to prepare our minds, bodies and homes for the darker winter months ahead.
These beautiful celebration candles all behold Mabon correspondences…warm earthy autumnal colours, depictions of wheat, ferns, leaves, pomegranates…as well as having been dressed with passionflower botanicals.
These candles are 14cm tall and have a burn time of approximately 4-5 hours.
Manon’s Lair Beeswax Candles are hand poured and painstakingly hand decorated in honour of the various Magickal and Mystical Creatures, Correspondences, Religious and Cultural Festivals that we read and learn about in Folklore, Legend, Myth and Tradition.
These candles are sold in bundles of 2 different Mabon candles for $40 per bundle plus postage. Combined postage is available for multiple purchases and pick up from Mosman 2088 is also available. Please message me to arrange.
These beautiful candles are perfect for use during manifesting, intention setting and ritual or simply as a mesmerising celebratory decorative candle to meditate upon.
Please Note: Manon’s Lair candles are all hand made and hand decorated…by one person. Virtually, all my candles are a work of art. No 2 candles will ever be exactly the same, no 2 candles will ever be exactly the same colour. My candles are not perfectly straight or perfectly symmetrical as they are not machine made. They each have the rustic character and beautiful intention that can only be imbued into a completely hand crafted creation.
Please read the Candle Warning Information included in the photos of this listing before ordering. Also be mindful that beeswax candles produce a large amount of melted wax drip and therefore must be burned on a large enough fire safe dish to catch the molten wax.
Candles that have been dressed with dried botanicals have a higher chance of burning with a larger flame due the flame potentially igniting the dried botanicals. For this reason it is of utmost importance that you burn these candles away from any flammable objects on a large fireproof dish.
In Love and Light…
