Lately I've had trouble picking up a paint brush. I'm still figuring out why - doubt, insecurity, insufficiency, overwhelm, procrastination, product pressure - could be any or all of these! Then I decided to just stop thinking and just do. Just put brush to paper. Simple, repetitive. It felt good. I lose myself and find myself all at once in moments like these. It was a good choice. Especially with the sun streaming over my work space. Next step is to make this choice again, and again.
